Our minds create images, even before we can find the words to describe what we are thinking and feeling. The combination of working with calming the critical mind and practising non judgement of self, together with art making, allows us to use this imaginative capacity of the mind to build bridges, connecting thoughts to feelings -preconscious to conscious, and ourselves to others. Using lines, form, space, texture and colour as our language, we can create a work of art that communicates our feelings and ideas that has no words. An opportunity to access a deeper, seemingly inaccessible place, gently and quickly and without any analysis.  The body and mind gently shifts through seeing these images of self out of the body. This is not a new age methodology, it is an ancient way of being that we know and need to re practise in a world full of speed, technology and left brain thinking.t that communicates our feelings and ideas that have no words.

I offer talks on how to tap into your creative source, your creative intelligence, followed by practical experiential workshops. Schools, corporates, individuals and groups on healing programmes.

I believe that we can change our ideas when we forget about the end product and simply use the creative process to relax, refocus and re-energize ourselves. This way of creating allows us to enjoy the therapeutic value of creating art – always with an eye turned inward and with the ability to transcend traditional ideas and learnt patterns and create new one's.

During practical workshops we create using a variety of materials; including mixed media, printing, clay, paint, crayons & pastels, dyes, recycled & found natural things. By using materials that children use, we hope the fear of creating is calmed and thus creativity can simply be free and flow.

We focus on the Process and not on the Product. It's a radical practice of getting out of your logical and controlling right brain and allowing yourself to play and find yourself again.
